Gracie's Thrift Store

Gracie's Thrift Store is a ministry of Grace Community Church, we were the first affiliated church thrift store ever to my knowledge and definitely in the valley. We created it for an outreach to the local homeless, the undeserved as we do give out $25 clot Our main goal is we support our global outreach workers through the church and so with that ministry as we're a non-profit, our profit goes to our global outreach workers. And so we have over probably 60 families around the world that we primarily help serve. And we have our website Gracie's Thrift Store. com we also have drop boxes in the back of our building and then now in our church we also have two big collection boxes as we refer to them. And so people can leave them down there as well. See in the impact that providing lower priced items of great value I t And we try to pride ourselves of looking And so I think the cleanliness and organization of the store helps the people feel more welcomed and just be able to feel Our clot We also have housewares and furniture electronics, so computers, laptops, DVD players, cameras, as well as toys and crafts and media, so books, DVDs, VHS. We have different 50% off sales daily and so we try to get a good rotation of those items so people can keep coming back and finding that great deal that they're looking for. We have over 60 volunteers right now on a regular basis. So definitely a volunteer is definitely another option of people can help out in the community as well. And then we also offer social services to the residents as well as some of the communities, the two neighborhoods w Right now we have the free VITA volunteer tax preparation next door in our community room. So we really try to encourage the community to come see Gracie's and be a part of us.
