Cheap Vintage

So I was searching the internet trying to find a 50 millimeter lens and after seeing the prices it made me want to give up Until I looked over and it hit me I already had one So I hopped on b&h ordered a mount We did a couple grueling days And finally got it in the mail I want it And it came just in time for my trip to chicago So naturally on the first couple of days we explored the city and I got to see my pops and my siblings So During that time were lucky enough to be in town for the van go exhibit And we got to see other incredible works This trip made me fall in love with this 44 year old lens The fd lenses were developed by canon and was introduced in march of 1971 and linked around until 1992 Or so we thought 40 years later We're adapting lenses because it's affordable and these lenses have character that's tough to come around So that's why I've fallen in love with this 50 millimeter lens They're super easy to find You could find them on offer up I picked mine up from offer up But the only thing to look out for is when you try to pick one up any vintage lens Make sure to check for fungus because that's not very good for the image But besides that it'so worth it And yeah, I hope Peace
