Donations are accepted at the store from 10am-6pm M-F and 10am-5pm Saturday. On the west side of the building you will see a garage door with big red letters above it that says DONATIONS. There will most likely be a volunteer to help assist you with your donations and you will be asked if you need a donation receipt :)
Journey Again is a non-profit thrift store located in Sturgis where everything gets a second chance. Jasmine Davis has more in today's Coda Cares. Journey Again is a place where everyone has the opportunity to discover hidden gems right in plain sight. From clothes, to shoes, to furniture, and toys for children, there'something for everyone. Jenna Nett Lewis, the owner of Journey Again thrift store, runs the shop alongside her husband. She emphasizes the importance of community impact when it comes to partnering with other organizations. We do partner with other organizations that give things away for free. We do take stuff to the free store and lead. We donate to other organizations, All the programs working with Journey Again provide vouchers to people in need, allowing them to access necessary items. The success of receiving donations from the community has enabled Journey Again to pass along those items to other programs instead of letting them go to waste, especially when someone else needs them. We have director Ashley Adams at the Crisis Intervention Center located in Sturgis, highlights how Journey Again and other agencies collaborate to help individuals and families. We're such a small facility that we don't have every basic need that the individuals that come in that need, so being able to collaborate with them allows us to ensure that we're meeting their needs. Journey Again's message is simple. All things deserve a second chance. That's what matters the most, especially when you need it the most. If you are interested in donating to Journey Again, donation hours are Wednesday through Friday from 11am to 3pm and Saturday from 11am to 1pm.
