Do you remember when everything was a dollar at the Dollar Tree? Well, it is the end of an era, my friends. Now, it's been a dollar 25 since 2021, but we are swiftly moving into, it's going to be the nine quarter store here in a few minutes. I think the actual dollar at the dollar store, those days are over, and customers are noticing. So I want to show you what customers are saying, what the news article is saying, what Dollar Tree is doing. For decades, Dollar Tree built its value on the fact that everything was one dollar. Do you remember the old 99 cent, everything for 99 cent store? Probably not, because it went out of business because they abandoned their model, which is everything for 99 cents. And Dollar Tree was the same, everything at Dollar Tree was a dollar. And then they started to roll out People do this. I don't really know what that means. And then it hit in 2021, they b And here in 2025, four years later, they are hitting us again with dramatic price increases. So why is Dollar Tree raising prices? Well, in an article in USA Today, it says during the so they were forced to negotiate with suppliers, get different products, drop other products, and raise its prices. But the real question is, how do the customers feel about it? These chips is 250. That's not bad. That's not bad. It's 250. These small bags of chips are two dollars and 50 cents at the Dollar Tree right now. And you might be thinking, that'still a great price because at my grocery store, those bags of chips are five dollars. But my friends, if you shop You don't have to go to Dollar Tree to pay 250. Why am I hearing that they're going to be raising their prices to seven dollars? Seven whole dollars? I'm already pissed that you're charging a dollar 25, a dollar 50, a dollar 75. Shit, some of this stuff, three dollars. You have to order to want to charge seven dollars? In regards to the floral is almost two dollars. For what? For this? This is two dollars. Two dollars. Okay, these used to be some of my favorite things here. And I don't know if it'supposed to be a two pack and this one just came off. But this is marked six bucks. Or if they're going to cut all of these and have them all be six bucks individually, Which is, so if this is six for one, that's kind of insane. These were my favorite things to get. How much is this one? Four dollars. Nine dollars for four paper towels. Oh my gosh, just go to Costco. Or This is highway robbery. And then this one, this is five dollars for this little four, well four guy. Oh buddy. Oh no, this is seven dollars. Oh my gosh, if I went to Ross, I bet I would find something much nicer than this and much bigger than this for seven dollars. It's not looking good guys. As someone who used to do a ton of Dollar Tree cooking content and There's reason. I go in there and I'm trying to find some great grocery deals to show you and I can't find them because all my favorite products are gone.
