The Good Samaritan Thrift Store Watch for the opening of The Good Samaritan Thrift Store located at 8357 East Main, Alexandria, Kentucky 41001, sponsored by Cross and Crown-Newport. This is not a junk store. It is a first class thrift store loaded with items you would not be ashamed to have in your home. We got it all. Nice dry cleaned or washed clothing, furniture, pictures, small appliances, antiques, some building supplies and all kinds of odds and ends. Just a fun place to shop while enjoying a Christian atmosphere. We are accepting donations and can give you a receipt for tax deduction purposes. In some cases we will come to your house and pick up your donations. Best of all your purchases will help to begin our new ministry, Pursue Recovery Center, managed by Brother Chris Hillard. New at 4 we asked you to vote for your favorite thrift store in the Tray Cities and we now have the winner. Good Samiridan Thrift Store in Rhone Mountain has been named the Tray City's best. The store has been a part of the community for the last 20 years. They're actually celebrating its 20th anniversary today. The store also has a food pantry inside which has been helping those in need. We've had folks that we've helped before that's came back like a year later and say The store serves Tennessee and North Carolina.
