Let's bring things back to Southern Arizona and Midtown. The long operating La Cave's Bakery is closing its doors after 90 years of business. A post on the bakery's Facebook page said it's its last day will be Sunday, February 23rd or sooner depending on remaining supplies and staffing. No reason was given in the post but La Cave's first opened on South 6th Avenue in 1935 with where it served as a neighborhood bakery to Southside residents for more than eight decades. Very sad to see that. Yeah, that's unfortunate.
