Dessert place
Bahama Bucks vs. Authentic Hawaiian Shaved Ice. What's the difference? Let's find out. Starting with the much closer and cheaper option, Bahama Bucks. Blue tooth, small Bahama Ramas. A few moments later, our order was ready and it was time for the taste test. The snow-coated part was super delicious, but the ice cream was buried at the very bottom and definitely wasn't anything special. Overall, I'd give it 5 snow. But how would it compare to authentic shaved ice from Hawaii? So the boys and I hopped on a plane, stayed the night in the airport, and took an hour bus ride just to get to this particular shop called Mats And just by the land alone, I could tell this place was gonna be good. What's the name of this one? Pineapple Mango Cherry. I Honestly, it was pretty good. The flavors were unique, it tasted fresh, and the ratio of ice cream to shaved ice was much better than Bahama Bucks. If you want to see our thoughts on some local ice cream shops, watch this video. But overall, I think the Hawaii shaved ice was better. 4. 5 stars.
