Mad Batters

You're gonna have a bakery named Mad Batters. You can't just make it normal. It's gotta be something different. I've always been a fan of Alice in Wonderland. I've always been a fan of puns. I would love a place Eugene lends itself to that, I've always been a fan of puns. It's just not your basic coffee shop or bakery. It's just something to look at, something to do, something to read. It is another world. It's my world. If I had a world of my own. . . I built a lot of. . . I built my fireplace. I A couple of years ago, I was a little bit of a fan of the doorknob. I Customers have given me stuff. It's been surreal. I'm super creative as a person. And I never would ever be happy in a job where I can't create, right? I just sometimes will When you eat something and you think, oh, what flavor is this? I don't want people to ever experience that here. I want them to go, whoa, that was a peach! We really don't use I mean, it's very old fashioned way of baking. It's butter or nothing. And we just make everything from scratch. It's I'm also one of those people that is never content with just. . . I'm So it's Yeah, I have local coffee. And then I have I don't know anybody that has 60-some syrups. I'm sure they're out there, but, . . I just, I want to make people happy. I always have been a people pleaser, but I just. . . I want people when they walk in the door to feel . . I just want to make their day, And if you can make somebody's day with a really good coffee or a great experience or a delicious treat, to me that's what it's all about.
