The future of many other of the chain stores remains unknown as some landlords are objecting to the new owner's restructuring. Ollie's announced in February a purchase 40 more big lot storefronts that were marked for closure after the chain filed for bankruptcy. The acquisition increases Ollie's ownership of big lot stores to 63 with locations nationwide, including four in Ohio. Now shortly after Ollie's announcement, U. S. bankruptcy court in Delaware approved plans for variety wholesalers to acquire the leases of 118 other big lot stores.
