Happy day everyone! Rick and I are in Westlake Village today. Rick's behind the camera. Hi Rick! And we are here today with Julia San Bartolome and she is the owner of Sweet Arlene. So we wanted to come and talk to you and find out a little bit about the business. Thank you so much. I'm very excited to be here. Sweet Arlene's opened in 2009. I was the first person hired and a little over a year ago my family and I purchased it from the original owner Arlene. We run the business just Everyone's good at something. So my dad does all the books. I run the kitchen and oversee all the staff. My mom is the big thinker. My sister is doing social media and we just love the opportunity to still bring fresh baked j Wonderful! Yeah great! So do Absolutely! Let's go! Okay. Every morning we stock our case full of fresh baked j As you can see a little secret about my favorite chocolate marshmallow. Throw it in the freezer for a few minutes. It will be the best thing you ever eat. Kitchen is where all the magic happens. We start baking at 4 a. m. every morning. Bread pudding's in the oven. Sweet Arlene's has always been known for our j However my whole background is in wedding cakes. So when you need that custom cake give us a call.
