Moustache Baked Goods

I'm here in Heald Bird, California at a really cool little cupcakeery, I guess you call it. It's called Mustache Baked Goods, and this gets my vote for Best of the Best Baked Goods and Cup Caceries. I'm here with Sarah, who works here, and I'm just going to ask her a couple questions. I see How did that concept come about, and what makes that so special? Well, let'see, the two owners, when they started this place, one of them is from Healdsburg, and one of the really great things about this area is, especially the produce, there's a lot of really local great things that come from here. And so, it was just really important for them to do kind of a farm to cake, really kind of simple ingredients, but a good mock Nice, very cool. And how did this whole thing come about? Where did this all start? They're pretty young, so it's an exciting thing that they started their own business. We just had our two year anniversary yesterday, So they just had a really big passion for this kind of thing and decided to just kind of go for it, knowing that they're on this. Nice. So I'm looking at a bunch of these different flavors here. What are some of the local favorites? Let'see, definitely the outlaw. This one we have year round, because we change ingredients in cupcakes kind of seasonally, but this one we keep on all the time. We do a chocolate cake, a homemade caramel filling, chocolate butter cream, and a big, a base-y coletauble. And I had that one in it. So amazing. So that's a really good one. Right now for Fall, Mr. Wee is a Gravenstein apple cake with a caramel butter cream on top of that, so that's a really good one for Fall right now. And then I'd say in the case over here, the p Very cool. And do you guys do catering and things Absolutely. Yeah, we do a lot of weddings and events, which is really great.
