In 2015, we will have a new biggest Tabraga bout, and this one is sweet, literally. Jack Long, of Cookies by Design in Plano, told me how it all started with an unemployed single mom named Gwen Wellite in her dream. In 1983, she took the idea of flowers and cookies and combined them into the first ever cookie bouquet. And that was 30 years ago, and now there's nightly stalls nationwide. Jack and I walked through where they literally hand make every single cookie. As you look here, you can see that everything's literally done by hand. It's almost Each cookie is as individual as the person it will be hand delivered tomorrow. If you said to us, hey look, my favorite thing in the world is a polar bear, but I want it sitting on a palm tree, we can do that for you. So they own the cookie bouquet crown. How about this new challenger? The cupcake. Well, they made a plan. Kicked off with 10 recipes, grew to 30. We're slow rolling it out between now and the end of Q1 next year, and by that time, all 90 of our stalls will be on board, and that makes us the largest cupcake company in the country. And to celebrate, they're giving away free cupcakes today only. We're going to be giving away free cupcake samples to anybody who comes in. We're doing it in partnership with the North Texas Food Bank. Bring a canned food item to Cupcakes by Design at Coit Road in Campbell in Richardson from 11 a. m. to 5 p. m. And get your free cupcake sample. Everybody wins. We're going to have a dancing cupcake outside, which is worth a trip alone, and just come down and have some fun.
