Freshly Baked Deliciousness
It all started as a hobby for Patty back in 1985, decorating cakes for fun as she raised her 3 boys as a single mom. This hobby soon blossomed into a full time business which Patty ran from her Fullerton, California home while also participating in community roles such as the PTA, Club Scouts, Booster Club President, Assistance League and more. With dreams of one day having her own shop she continued to decorate year after year. Along the way she baked the dessert cakes twice weekly for Disneyland's Exclusive "Club 33" for four years, and created the wedding cake for Hollywood Stars Amanda Pays and Corbin Bernsen of LA Law. In search of a new journey after selling his previous company, Patty's middle son Philip joined Patty's Cakes as co-owner, set to handle the business operations and marketing. Pulling together resources from kindhearted friends and family, a store location was found and transformed. In October 2010, Patty's dream of having her own Cake shop became a reality. With positive reviews streaming in from around the community, Patty's creative and tasty menu of Cakes, Cupcakes, and Cake Balls has been pleasantly welcomed and enjoyed. I encourage you to continue your journey through our amazing, mouth-watering website! You will get “just a taste” of the many cakes that I have created over the years. Keep checking back, your dream cake may be added next! Please call to have your questions answered, and to place your order. Thank You! Phone: 714-525-8350 Fax: 714-515-4243 Fullerton, CA
Hi, I'm Patty Gomez and I'm co-owner of Patties Cakes and Desserts here in Fullerton and I'm a local resident as well. I have been decorating cakes for the community since 1985, I believe. I started as a single mom raising my three boys, decorating cakes for friends and family and it progressed and I built Clientel and I even did cakes for Disneyland's Club 33. And it slowly built up to the point where now I am co-owner with my son Philip, he's my middle son and we run Patties Cakes and Desserts here in Fullerton for the community and we've been at this location for about four and a half, almost five years now. So we do things a little differently than most bakeries. We're actually more of a cakeery. We do cupcakes, cakes and cake balls and is where most bakeries will offer you just a portion of their menu for their available flavors for the day. We offer all 52 of our flavors and freshly ice them for every customer as they come in. So we've been with the Chamber of Commerce for, since we've been open really, it's four and a half years. The benefit to being with the Chamber is we've met a lot of people, we've had some engagement and some assistance with people involved with the Chamber to help us with marketing, with communication, with just overall running a business. It'somewhere where we get to network with people that are on the same perspective and the same point of view. So when you go to discuss things with people, they already know what you're talking about and they know where you want to go next and how to help you get there. So we get the opportunity to be able to help so many people in different organizations, whether it be schools, churches, different charities. We really get the enjoyment of doing so because we can bring something to the event that not a lot of people can. We can bring smiles through cupcakes and through desserts because at the end of the day, when you get a cupcake, you're always going to be smiling. So it's quite a joy for us to be able to provide so many desserts for people and bring a happiness to their event. It brings great joy to be able to provide to the same community that I grew up in, that we currently live in, reside in. So to be able to see a lot of friendly faces at these events and know that you've known them for years and now to be able to give back to them is a rewarding feeling. I would I am so grateful. Thank you so much for this. I really appreciate it. So we're super thankful for the Chamber of Commerce for voting us the small business of the year. It just shows that all the hard work that we've done hasn't gone unnoticed and that people really appreciate who we are as a company, how we affect the community and how they really enjoy our desserts. So thank We appreciate it.
