Anytime you lose a life, no matter, you know, if it's a h The Milwaukee Police Department tragically lost a K-9 member on June 6th. K-9 Agu, a German shepherd, passed away due to complications with cancer. He's part of the MPD team. To honor his service, Jen Sweet treats Bakery owner Jennifer Clark is hosting a pet food drive. How about you, hon? The Bakery, taking all types of pet food and cash donations, which will be donated to the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission. We've got a cash drug that we've been collecting, and then pet food, we're donating to MADIC. Clark says Agu was just Thanks, Jen. The K-9 cookies for sale, holding a special meaning among the other sweet treats on display. And support for the K-9 officer is apparent as he's remembered by community members with a large stack of pet food collected to help other MADIC animals. We've got such a great customer base, lots of community support. Agu had been with MPD since March 2015 and specialized in apprehension, tracking and narcotics detection.
