We’re a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means “the daily bread” in French, and like our name suggests, we’re bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we serve a variety of healthy options like organic coffee, pastries, eggs, tartines, soups, salads and desserts. At Le Pain Quotidien, we believe that food should be simple, nourishing and delicious. That’s why we source ingredients that are local or organic whenever possible. We also believe in the importance of eating a healthy, plant-based diet, so you’ll find many vegetarian or vegan options on our menu.
La Parque Coutugien was one of those bakeries I used to run away to when I was studying in Beirut. It has a lot of nostalgia, I feel Starting out from a little bakery in Brussels to becoming a franchise, 269 cafes in 20 countries. Today we're going to be talking to Mr. Alain on why this cafe is such a huge success. The best thing about La Parque Coutugien is that everything feels very light and on the go. However, it does have this very timeless and nostalgic feel that you can get a sense of when you're sitting down and you're eating the baguettes that's made out of sourdough with the boiled egg and the decoration. So it started as an idea to have organic produce and what is something that you'd I see the idea changed over the past few years. Yes, there's a bit, it's about sourdough bread. I would say that when I started three years ago, even the organic name didn't exist. The mission since we started three years ago is the same. Maybe the menu became a little bit more sophisticated. So Mr. Anna is about to start the salad training out of his new cookbook and some new items off the menu. And we're going to see Please do come check out La Parque Coutugien. It's a beautiful place, especially here at the one in the Marina Mall. Alright, I'll see We get the egg sandwich.
