We are so pleased and feel very blessed to present to you the 8th St Coffee House!!! Located in the heart of downtown, we are the one and only coffee shop AND bistro in the downtown area!...and we are so excited to be a part of the growth of downtown! 8th St Coffee House is located...get this...on 8th St......across the street from the Wichita Tower and next door to "Big Blue". Our store hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4pm, Friday 7:30am-10pm, Saturday 7:30am-4pm, and Sunday 9am-2pm for Sunday Brunch - with Open Mic Night every Friday evening and occasional live acoustic music, announced in advance. Our menu includes our house coffee, a variety of lattes, cappuccinos, teas, frappes, smoothies, Italian sodas, hot chocolate, and much more. We also have an amazing food menu including several breakfast items, bagels, sandwiches, wraps, pitas, salads, soups, several vegetarian options, and pastries.....all items offered for dine-in or carry-out....don't have time to wait...call in your order in advance and we'll have it ready for you! With ample seating, a cozy "Austin-like" atmosphere, a menu that will meet the needs of any appetite, and open WiFi we hope to become your new favorite hang out! Staying downtown, it was a big day for those over at 8th Street Coffee House. Says they held their grand opening today. Owner Jen Amador has been tirelessly working around the clock, making her transition from her original location down to Chelsea Plaza. Amador says she never planned to relocate, but when the opportunity to move into the new building came up, she just could not pass it up. The new location has several spacious private rooms that are available to the public along with a new convenient drive-through. I can't wait to check it out. I think I'm going to do that tomorrow for breakfast.
