The Dovetail is a Bohemian style Independent Coffeehouse serving espresso, milkshakes, salads, panini sandwiches, quesadillas, wraps, wifi and more.
The dovetail joint is one of the strongest joints in woodworking. And that's why it's used in a lot of applications Because of the force that is applied when opening and closing drawers, the dovetail can withstand this throughout the years and last. This is a joint that I made as an experiment. And I have not assembled this joint yet. But I'm about to see if this works. The experts tell me that you should not test fit your dovetail joints repeatedly or even once. You should assemble it after it's done and that's it. And here, that's exactly what I'm doing. I'm assembling this joint after I've already cut it. You'll know if it's going to fit by the visual that you give it before you assemble it. So I've added the glue and here we go. This is the first time that this joint has been fitted. And the experts, they know what they're talking about. And I listen to them. This joint went together nicely for the first time and it's glued together. It's not at all perfect and it may have a few slight imperfections if you look very close. I even checked it for squareness and the squareness is good. Tell me what you think.
