Today we will talk about what a sonet is. Let'start with the definition. A sonet is a poem with 14 lines that is used by several formal rhyme schematers in English and usually has 10 lines per line. When we talk about 10 lines per line, we actually speak of the use of the Yami-shen pentameters, There are generally two types of sonets. There is the Petran sonet, the Italian origin and the Shakespeare sonet, the English origin. Let's take a look at the construction of the two types. In the Petran sonet there is an octave and a chest, where the volt is normally between the octave and the chest. The Shakespeare sonet consists of three quarts and a couplet, where the placement of the volt is a little more flexible and can stand at any point after the middle part of a poem. Let's come to the rhyme schema. In the Petran system you would see, but, but, CDE, CDEI or CDCCD, which is basically a combination of quarts and three rhymes. In the Shakespeare sonet you would see from ABCD-CDE-FIFG, which is a combination of alternating rhymes and a rhyme pair.
