I've learned it's kind of a hot take to You heard it here first. So we are here at the St. George's Donuts location in Ozark. It's one of the newest locations that the family's opened. And I'm joined this morning by Miss Katie St. George. The woman behind it all. So you've been in the donut business a long time, right? Yes, ma'am. When I was 16, my parents got a Winchells franchise in Southern California, and they taught me when they were training them. And then later on, I had two of the Winchells franchises in Southern California. In 1971, we moved back here with my family and opened up the first shop on Grand and Glenstone. And this kept on growing. Yeah, it's gone ever since. And so it's the business has stayed in your family, right? Your son. Yes, it's run by all my family now. My son's own them. And they've been a lot of help to me through the years. I lost my husband in 1985, and my kids stayed with me, and that's worked and just kept working. They stayed with me and helped me too. And that'so amazing that I've seen the family. I'm very proud of them. And so what is it about homemade donuts that just, what's the best part about it? Well, they have to be homemade. We do everything as hand cut. It's not done by machine. So we actually have bakers that stand back there and cut the cinnamon rolls, the glaze, the donuts, everything. And there's just nothing better than homemade. Nothing better than homemade. Katie St. George, thank you so much. Thank you. You're such an inspiring businesswoman here in the Ozarks.
