Surrey Coffee Company started as an ambitious plan for owners Esther and Werner Osbelt. Originally from Switzerland, the Osbelt set off on a journey to bring Swiss cafe charm from their youth to their new alpine home by creating the Surrey Coffee experience in Truckee, California. Werner has a long tradition in retail and community building. He has served as a general manager and owner of a supermarket chain, having brought many innovations to market. Esther has deep family roots in the fine arts and is an honored graduate of the Interior Design Academy in Switzerland. Esther has brought to life her European flair for design in upgrading the cozy mountain style to include modern sensibilities in artistic panache. Together they created Surrey Coffee Company to bring a uniquely quaint Swiss experience to Truckee. Located at 11375 Donner Pass Road in the Donner Plaza Mall right in between DMV and the New Moon Natural Foods. A convenient location for a quick stop nitro coffee or take your time to enjoy a savory crepe or delicious Swiss pastry. Truckee is the perfect place to create the Surrey Coffee experience and it's a perfect place for everyone to come and enjoy well crafted coffee drinks and exquisite fresh food.
