For centuries, the “pub” (short for public house) has been the center of community-life in England. The Foundery Coffee Pub serves locally roasted coffee instead of alcohol, but retains the same anchors of community-life and creative interaction typically found in a neighborhood pub. As a nonprofit business, The Foundery Coffee Pub will source funds and volunteers for initiatives in the neighborhood and beyond.
What's up everybody, my name is CJ Mosley, we are sitting outside the Foundry Coffee Shop in Tiling, Texas. Well we're just taking a quick tour around and see what's up. Music We are some of the baristas, what makes the Foundry special. For me it's the community, I mean the goal of most coffee shops is to build a community or at least that's a sub goal of almost every coffee shop but I feel Music There are some interesting facts that people might not know about the Foundry. Music Yes we're owned by the church upstairs, by the Bible church. That's another thing that's weird about the Foundry though, it's Music The Foundry Coffee Shop has a unique culture that makes everybody feel Music I hope it's a culture of inclusion, a place where you can go and no matter where you're from or whatever it's a place where you belong, it's a place where people are, I'm going to be happy to see you, I don't care who you are I'm super excited that my job allows me to get to hang out with all these interesting people, all these people that make my life a lot better. So hopefully I would love for that to be the thing that defines the Foundry is the way we value people. Music
