My name is Ernesto Prada. My name is Mirella Baez. My leaf is a name that comes from a Spanish word, which means a thousand leaves, a thousand layers that have the leaf, the leaf paste that we prepare. We sell salt and sweet products. Salt is in beef, we have chicken, we sell chile and sweet. We sell pineapple, guava, apple pie. We offer all this with natural juices, with very exotic flavors and with products brought especially from Colombia, such as the Colombian areas that are very famous in the Colombian community. We started our business around 15 years ago. When we came to California, we had the idea of being able to transplant it here. We always had it in mind. Were always preparing the products to share with people we knew, friends, family, neighbors. And when we saw the acceptance of the products, the idea was always there. Basically, the biggest difficulties that were faced with were the economic resources, and perhaps also the necessary information to be able to open a business in this country. We graduated from the New America program in June 2012. New America helped us in everything, giving us an induction on how to manage, create a business, how to manage the financial part, the administrative part, and it has also helped us to get a credit and start the business. The plans for the future would be to grow and to expand to make more people happy with our products. We definitely want our daughters to be part of the business, in fact, part of this project, of all this dream and reality, and we want them to have this service. The advice I give is to always fight for what they want, to perceive, to work with faith and discipline. From the point of view of the business, there has to be a lot of things that the heart tells them. If the heart says that we have to move forward and that we have to give the best of one, we have to follow that line of feelings because that is the best answer we have. Thank you.
