I think TFC has done such a great job bringing Filipinos together and recognizing all of our accomplishments as Filipinos and Filipinos operating at such a high level of excellence. Hi, we are Most Your Coffee co-founders. I'm Jolene Malone and this is my partner Sam Mantenong. So Most Your Coffee was started in 2013 here in San Diego, California. I started it with my best friend Beverly Mantenong, which is his wife, and it was really inspired by a trip that we took to the Philippines. Were building homes for the poor and just reconnecting back to our homeland and In 2013 the two ladies came to me and they said, Sam we're going to open up a business. And I said you have no experience in business. You're an opera singer, you're an actress, what do They said, well we're going to open up a coffee roasting business. I said, where's your experience in roasting coffee? You don't even drink coffee, so it just seemed crazy at the time. Beverly and I discovered that the Philippines was once one of the largest producers of coffee in the world and so we got this bright idea that were going to become specialty coffee roasters that sourced coffee from the Philippines, brought it to the United States and create a world-class global brand which would then put Philippine coffee on a world stage and then hopefully then created demand from other roasters and companies around the world to start sourcing coffee from the Philippines because then it would then And today we are known as the largest purchaser of Philippine specialty coffee in the United States and seven years after we started our business we ended up winning 2020 Roaster of the Year which is the largest award that you can win as a coffee company globally. So it's 2024 and Mostar has now been in business for 11 years and We have multiple awards for our coffee award-winning coffee globally. Multiple years we've won top 30 coffees in the world and we have four retail locations that are open right now. We have two more in construction, one in Maramesa, one at San Diego Airport. It was so exciting that San Diego recognizes us as a brand to represent San Diego. Mostar as the Italian word for performance is a challenge and an inspiration to us to rise to the level of our I feel like being in the United States and San Diego in particular I had my Lola and Lola played TFC 24 hours a day in my house from the game shows to the talk shows to the telenovelas like everything For a TFC to exist to be able to share the voices of the people the different perspectives and to amplify that.
