The Wooden Rooster

So the wooden roosters are a really unique place. It is focused on crepes, so savory crepes as well as sweet crepes for desserts. Phenomenal. Gluten-free options. They have, I would say, 30 types of crepes you can order. You can customize. You can do whatever you wish. The thing that I really love about it is breakfast, so you can come out, sit outside, have coffee, have some juice, and have some just amazing crepes. And they also have salads for lunch. So it's just a great place to just hang out, chill, really recently priced, and just a great vibe. My name is Caitlin Eadie. I am the general manager here at the wooden rooster. It got started, the owner is originally from Burgundy, France, and he came to the United States, opened a restaurant. I want to say in Chicago, and then he came to St. Pete's. He loved the area and opened another restaurant, but he was always partners in those, and he wanted a place of his own. So he opened the wooden rooster. It's kind of To me, it is French farmhouse. It's definitely We've got some little French signs in the back, photos from France, stuff I would say the most popular is the apple melt, which is turkey, spinach, brie, caramelized apples and caramel sauce. That's probably our most popular. It's a little sweet and savory. My personal favorite is called the French filly. It's aciago cheese, caramelized onions, roast beef, and arugula. And then we make our own in-house horseradish crema. And so it's delicious. We're located at 104 Second Avenue, Northeast, right on the corner.
