Our story began in 1985 when we began hand roasting the world’s finest coffees in an old brick building in downtown Sacramento. If you’ve noticed our coffees are smoother tasting than most, it’s not by accident. Our beans are carefully roasted using authentic Italian brick-lined roasters that produce a slower, longer roast. We know our process takes more time, but we wouldn’t dare change a thing.
The Java City Coffee is a coffee chain with a location in the Arizona State University, downtown Phoenix's University Center. The location is a really wonderful place for students and faculty to grab a hot drink on the way to class or work. While many students choose to go to chains Dylan Davy is here with us, a worker at the coffee shop, to share approximately how many people this coffee shop serves every day. I would say roughly about three or four hundred people usually have a line wrapped around the pillar over there. The Chai at Java City Coffee is strong and high quality, as is their coffee. While there are not many places to sit down and do your homework, the location within the University Center is very convenient and it's proximity to so many classes.
