Although Portland boasts hundreds of specialty coffee shops, Case Study is a place un This coffee shop's got a philosophy for their business and their beans that makes them stand out amidst the pervasive coffee culture here, and it's because they prize both quality and community. Coffee beans from all over the world are roasted here in Portland by Case Study employees who proudly call themselves coffee nerds and are happy to educate customers with questions about Java. They also make all their own syrups, ensuring that their customers receive a quality cup of coffee different from any other coffee joint, even in Portland. Case Study has two other locations, one on Sandy Boulevard and one downtown. The shop on Alberta makes its home inside a refurbished garage, and I love it here.
