Carrons Kitchen started when I used to make cakes for family and friends during special occasions and then the friends and family would By the mid-90s, the hobby business had grown leaks and bounds practically by word of mouth and from having only one baking assistant, Carrons Kitchen now employs 13 specially trained bakers. Indeed, Carrons Kitchen has come a long way from its obscure beginnings. I was a stay at home mom and it was something that I could do and I enjoyed doing it a lot and it was flexible at a time and I could be home and when I needed I would go to the kitchen and work but when there are no orders in the beginning I could spend time with the kids so that was the best of both worlds. Indeed, Carrons Kitchen has come to be known for the home made goodness of its cakes. Our best selling cakes would be the chocolate ganache, red velvet and the sticky toffee pudding and Zanadu. I think that those have become the best sellers because they have been the cakes featured in media. We have a motto that quality is our lifeline so our growth and our survival is dependent on the quality that we give so we want to use the quality ingredients and even in our service and even in the procedures following the recipes I think that when the customers are happy with the product and the service they would come back for more because we don't grow by the one time users but we grow from the repeat customers who are happy.
