Norm's Coffee Bar

There's a story brewing in our community. It's the story of a renewed vision of Norm's Coffee Bar in downtown Newton. It begins with a great cup of coffee, but it grows into community and connection. Norm's is a place in the heart of our community, for the heart of our community. Newton's historic downtown district is a prime location for a high-end coffee bar. This s That means that profits from Norm's will be reinvested into the Newton community, but more on that in a minute. Do You slow down a bit, you share conversation a little more, and you create space to connect with people. Our amazing baristas will serve gourmet coffee drinks and delicious pastry and brunch items with the smile and friendly service that you'd expect. Our new Norm'space is stunning. 613 North Main is one of the oldest buildings in downtown Newton, 133 years old. Much of that building has been salvaged, and regular construction is working really hard to restore it to its original valor. This historic space will be the perfect place for meetings, coffee, and events. I could never have imagined that my simple part-time job in a local elementary school library could teach me so much about the needs of our community. As I listened to my students and I learned their stories, a vision for a community space began to grow in my heart. Our plan for Norm's includes partnering with local organizations to provide a connection space for young people and families. Our community narrative must change. How will Newton guide our young people towards a hope-filled and prosperous future? We must invest in them today. One way Norm's wants to help is by connecting strong leaders in our community with young people and families through tutoring, classes, and casual community interaction. In order to build a strong Newton 10 to 20 years from now, we have to invest in our future leaders right now. We are excited to be opening soon and we are currently raising funds for furnishings, equipment, and a three-month capital reserve. We are a 501C3 and all donations are tax deductible.
