Free Range Cafe

Hi, I'm Bettina and this is my daughter Rory and we opened Free Range Cafe in February 2020. The best possible time. The reason we decided to open Free Range Cafe is because we found ourselves moving back from New York City to Hagerstown, Maryland and we just were in a food swamp and we needed a healthy option but we also had fast-paced lives. We needed a quick healthy option. For me, starting the restaurant and changing my own health was personal. I lost all three of my sisters within a two-year period and I went down the path of trying to discover what kind of lifestyle changes I could make so that I could extend my life and be there for my family. The type of food we sell is organic. It's Free Range. We give people the options that they like to eat at other restaurants but here And while we do have meat we source only Free Range and organic and we try to take the focus off meat being the staple part of your meal. We want fruits and veggies to be the thing that people are grabbing and they find y The meat is more of a condiment instead of the main focus. Our dream for Free Range Cafe is to see them everywhere. While we would love to see them in cities we would our biggest focus is seeing them in lots of small towns And we think that this is such a unique idea we've seen a lot of healthy restaurants pop out but we haven't seen any pop up that have offer a full range from cold press juices to acai bowls to salads wraps and bowls that also have a drive-thru have a kids play area and have ways for people to get food quickly on the go.
