Wicked Voodoo Espresso

My name is Melinda Short. I am the regional growth and training manager at Wicked Voodoo Espresso. I've been here for over four years. I've been able to, in those four years, just kind of really grow with the company and There's an ongoing joke that we're just cheap therapists, but it's because we really care what's going on in each individual's life and we love hearing those stories and we love being a part of growing with our customers as well and I think that is really what has shaped me into who I am and who I am in this company. My customers are probably some of my favorite things in the whole wide world. It's the reason I do what I do. One of my favorite things that they tell us when they drive through is I'm so glad you're here and I think that is probably the most fulfilling thing in my entire career because sometimes it's really easy to just look at my job as just making a cup of coffee for people, but I think there'so much more than that. When our customers are just excited to see us as we are to see them, I think is what really makes getting up at four o'clock in the morning to come and make their coffee worth it. Just recently I was working at a location that I normally don't work at and one of my first customers that day was somebody who was a regular at my main location and one of the first things that she said when she came through was she was so happy to see me there and I think she was just excited to see a familiar face and someone that knew her coffee order. She had We really do genuinely care about each of these people and we get excited when they come back. Working with Wicked Voodoo Espresso has brought me into such an awesome community of coffee lovers and I honestly don'think I would want to do life any other way.
