I would say the first thing that makes us unique is that we roast our coffee in our store. So people get to see the green product coming in big burlap sacks all the way through the finished product that we fully roasted. We do it right in the front of the store so people can see it plain sight. Another aspect is that it's a fairly large place to come and sit. We try to keep the atmosphere good so that it's a good place for people to come and hang out. My name is Aria. I love B&J because it's a very relaxing environment. Everyone who comes here is very nice and friendly. I think part of it is that it kind of reminds me of home because I have a cafe just So it's a really great environment to get worked on because dorm rooms can get a little crazy. We opened here in 1997 and we opened four years after we opened this store in Portsmouth. And it had grown and that was my brother'store and we decided that it was a good idea to open another store. And it still happened that a location popped up in Durham that really kind of fit our business model. My name is Jim. The reason I come to B&J, I think it's a very relaxing atmosphere. It reminds me of my college days and makes me feel smart I guess. Hey, my name is Pat. B&J is a pretty awesome place. It got really good coffee and some good snacks too. And I Hi, my name is Rachel Miller and I'm a psychology major and a junior here. Hi, my name is Mary. I'm a nutrition major here at UNH. And we both work at B&J. I chose to work here mostly for the atmosphere and I needed a good job. And I just love being here and meeting new people every day. I chose to work here because I love the coffee here and I love the people. One of our primary focuses here is really to keep things as fresh and as beautiful as possible in here. One of our biggest features is we roast our coffee three to four days a week so that our customers always know that it's always fresh. We try to buy the highest quality coffee beans around. So in essence what we're trying to do is create the best product around. Keep it consistent. Keep our service excellent.
