The Basket Is Full, Inc., has built an sophisticated premium brand called, Pur Java®. Our coffee products are truly for "Sophisticated Taste Buds!"
Welcome to Pur Java Coffee Coffee is much more than a drink, it is a true cultural phenomenon capable of inspiring brilliant ideas in those who consume it. We know that the reasons cannot simply be sensory; what makes the cup of coffee so appealing as to become an absolute habit? After having tasted it, the body and mind reawaken, one’s attention becomes sharper, one’s reflexes and movements are more prompt, one’s mood truly lifts to an energetic state. The secret of these effects lies within our roasting team whose diligence keeps unlocking the hidden alkaloid substance tucked away inside. Due to the presence of caffeine, coffee stimulates the central nervous system and is an analeptic, which means it can restore strength and vigor. In addition to its effect on the body, it also has effects on the mind. It improves a number of functions, like attention, memory, learning and cognitive ability, while also inspiring a feeling of ease. For that matter, The Basket Is Full, Inc. was established in Elkhorn, Nebraska while enjoying a cup of java; modern chemistry made giant forward leaps in part to provide itself with instruments that would allow it to better explain the nature of caffeine; Bach composed a Coffee Cantata; T.S. Eliot famously said of himself, “I have measured out my life with coffee spoons”; and the first modern newspapers emerged from London café culture. Who knows whether scientists would have worked at the same speed, whether the leaders of the Enlightenment would have celebrated rationality with the same conviction, whether the great liberating revolutions would have erupted if not for coffee? It is interesting to note that the ideas that we know about the world today were in part the work of coffee in your cup.
Have you ever wondered how that coffee came to beat in your mug this morning? Come along with us as we show you the entire process from bean to cup. Make sure you're wearing sturdy boots and a pair of jeans that you don't mind getting muddy because where we're going, we'll be getting a little dirty. We fly to Westerdhunderis, then travel high up in the mountains about 1,400 meters, 4,500 feet, an excellent altitude for coffee growth to meet at a farmer by sunup. We seem to drive upward forever through pine forest and past mountain villages seemingly trapped in time. Our destination? A small coffee farm dotting the mountainsides of Westerdhunderis. We are met by the farm gate, Mr. Louise, the overseer. He takes us to the harvesters who are working fast, sorting the best coffee seeds by hand, and by experienced workers. The beans, now called green coffee beans, are bagged and shipped to the basket as full ink in the United States upon receipt of a customer's order and not before the best beans are then roasted to order in Lincoln, Nebraska at Pure Java Coffee Roaster Facility. The packaged order is then shipped that or the next day to ensure that you receive the freshest coffee possible.
