The Rev Coffee Lab opened its fifth location in Baton Rouge, but this one has something unique on the menu. News reporter Georgia Peck has more on the story. Located inside the village plaza in Baton Rouge, the Rev Coffee Lab had its grand opening on the morning of Monday, January 18th. But the Rev is no ordinary coffee shop. As the name implies, the Rev Coffee Lab takes on a scientific perspective on the art of brewing. You can try to play around with different variables to get different notes out of the coffee, and so that's how I would say it's You're trying to look at what variable do I need to change in order to get this flavor out of it. In addition, this particular location is the only out of five Rev Labs to have alcohol as an item on the menu. It seems Only as the science concept of the Rev unique, so is the story behind the inspiration of its founding. I remember drinking coffee with my dad when I was So that experience with my father was something that I enjoyed. I always tried to mimic what my dad was doing, so I think that's kind of Johnson hopes to share this experience with his customers through the unique atmosphere that the Rev provides. Rev is French for the word dream. There's always been a dream of ours, to opening up a roasting facility and to have cafes. That way we can showcase what we do and what we're about. What we try to do in all of our locations is have that ambiance, have that atmosphere that people can come in and enjoy from all walks of life and experience something unique that they might not be able to experience anywhere else.
