Public Square Coffee House

Hi you guys So what is Public Square Coffee House for those who don't know anything about it? So we offer not only specialty coffee but it's also handmade house made goods we make scones we make breakfast sandwiches everything from scratch. And how has the pandemic affected you as a business owner? So we're a family-run business we're a small business obviously and so we've it's pretty hard And we follow you on Instagram and we did see before Well first of all just how much we missed them so for us I mean it we've never taken for granted what we mean to the community and what the community means to us and so we're not just a coffee shop we're not just a cafe but there's an there's the aspect of community and culture and what that brings to us so I think just relaying back to the community and letting them know that hey we're still here we're still thinking about you and we miss you just as much as you miss us. And now that you're back open officially to the public what does the public need to know when they do come back to visit you? Hopefully I mean there's kind of four main things that we wanted to make sure that were taken care of before we reopened. The first thing is obviously safety we wanted right now there's just too much unknowns and we want to make sure that our staff and of course the public are gonna be safe in the way that we do things we don't want to contribute to the pandemic. The other thing is we want to make sure that the customer experience that we have continues so we want to make sure that we don't lose anything as far as a customer experience goes because that's one of the things that make us unique. Also the quality of the products I mean right now there's lots of problems with distribution there's lots of problems with getting products from vendors and so we wanted to make sure that we're gonna be able to get the same quality product that we've always gotten and then last of all we economically we wanted to make sure that weren't gonna go out of business because if we do mean something to the community and the community means something to us the most important thing is for us to be viable and so we didn't want to reopen until we had done the n Well the patio is really cool and we know that the community loves to support you guys and that's just why we're out here this morning you guys at Public Square Coffee House in La Mesa just supporting all these small businesses that are just Alright thank you Casey.
