The Coffee Chamber

Please welcome and come to the coffee chamber where our 903 Smithfield Road. It's located near Sports Page, Spar and Grill, State Employees Credit Union, parties, easy to find on Smithfield. Right now I am 7 to 6 Monday through Friday, 8 to 5 on Saturday and I'm playing around with the hours on Sunday, 10 to 5 right now, 10 to 4. Nightdale is a growing area and I just thought this area, side of town, could use a coffee shop. It's a coffee end, I Our popular item is apple strudel. I bake those fresh daily every day and customers love those. Pine rolls, pies, gluten free cake, cookies, I love that there's a place local at Nightdale and it's very warm and comfortable here. We found it on Facebook and it's just, it's delight, Carissa is wonderful. It's pretty cool, she makes an effort to get to know you too, so it feels way better than going to a big chain. I was trying to create something that was welcoming and comfortable rather than you're in and out coffee shop where you just go grab a cup of coffee and leave or I want people to be able to feel comfortable to come in and sit down with their laptop and relax and take a break if they're at work or just need a break from the house or the routine. I want it to be cozy and comfortable. So we have two food truck vendors that we're going to be signing a lease with in January. I found out that food trucks need to have a commissary kitchen and we couldn't really find a lot of them around so my husband said, well why don't we open a commissary kitchen. This is just an extra area for us to rent out and utilize. I do cooking back here and then they can store things in the walking pool and they can wash their produce and their meat and their chicken. The artists are mostly from Mike Dahl and surrounding areas. There's an artist from, there's a photographer from Henderson. We've sold quite a few pieces, I mean they'really, it's really very nice. We have Jackie here who does the cows on the old barnwood, We have a lot of different oil paintings. We have watercolors. We have some wood design here. We have some three dimensional things on this wall here. I mean there's just a lot of different variety. There's quite a nice selection so the customers come in, they can browse whether they're drinking their coffee besides looking at their phone or the TV. It'something different to do. Plus it gives artists a venue to display their work so I'm really excited about that because I get to look at it every day and I love it. I've been told that it's very soothing and welcoming so I'm happy that people feel exactly how I wanted them to feel when they come in. Thank you. Bye.
