All of this Unreal Time is a project that started with a piece I wrote for the actor Kylian Murphy, which grew out of our conversations together about honesty and performance and this sort of poem, film, essay song. We decided it needed to be a collaborative thing and it became something quite different, quite incredible. We shared it with a producer called Mary Hickson who then in turn shared it with Eva McCardle, the filmmaker. She has made the film, we shot the film last year in London and it will be scored by Bryce and Aaron Destner and John Hopkins. It's about a man walking through an abandoned industrial landscape speaking to selfhood and the relationship between h It's kind of confessional, sometimes it's very intimate, other times it's extremely angry. The audience will be completely immersed in it. We want them to feel totally bombarded. We want their heartbeat, their physicality, their body to be involved. I want you to think, what was that? I just experienced that. That was more We want the boundary between different art forms to be very thin, permeable. We want a membrane between genres and between different experiences of culture to be thin and in some cases non-existent.
