LION Coffee is owned by Hawaii Coffee Company, the largest roaster and distributor of gourmet coffee in Hawaii.
LION roared into life in 1864, introducing the fine "fancy roasting" of coffee in Toledo, Ohio. LION Coffee revolutionized the taste of coffee with the careful roasting and blending of the best beans from around the world, creating a true brand of gourmet coffee. By the mid-1890's the company roasted a million pounds a week and had become one of the largest coffee companies in the world. In 1979, the LION Coffee Brand was acquired and relocated to Honolulu, Hawaii. Since that time, LION Coffee has become synonymous with Hawaiian beverages, and continues to produce flavorful and exotic coffees from around the world.

This just gives us a chance to meet them in person, shake their hand, just have it a little bit more accessible for the people that love Lion Coffee to get a cup of coffee. I take a lot of pride and joy in the fact that we're meeting so many different people every day.
