The Almond Sisters Bakery

Poma Sisters is a really, really unique bakery. It's artisan, so we make everything by hand and from scratch, and we'really proud of that. It's actually art in the baking. We're actually all artists who work here. Most of us are artists. My husband and I, we met in art school. We thought we would be working with paint and tools So, and it's cool, we get to make really unique items that you just can't find anywhere else. It's the almond twist. Downtown Hamilton is just the hub of all the culture. We love meeting people. This has given us a huge means to be able to connect with people wherever they were, wherever they come from. And that's another thing. We just love connecting with people. We really do get to be creative because not only do people come in here and get to taste the stuff, enjoy it.
