I'm Thomas Smith and this is a look at Lemos Farms. This is one of my favorite Bay Area attractions, especially in the wintertime. And Lemos Farms has actually been around since the 1940s, believe it or not. It's in Half Moon Bay. You'll probably see it on the drive into Half Moon Bay if you're coming from the East Bay. And it's a wonderful family-owned farm where you can do all kinds of activities. You can visit their goats. You can take a hayride. There's a haunted house that's very well known. There's a pretend train ride that takes you through a old Wild West town that they've built on-site there, as well as all kinds of other attractions and rides for kids. And it's a very sort of wholesome, family-oriented type of place. Also very historic, again, going back to the 1940s. There are two different concession stands or delis on-site. You can get basic sandwiches. You can also get kid-friendly stuff There's pony rides. There's all kinds of other attractions for kids, including a barn slide, which is a giant inflatable slide that they can climb up and slide down. There's a car barn where they can ride go-karts around, as well as several coin-operated attractions that they can use on your visit to Lemos Farm. This is one of my favorites. Again, this is the train ride around the farm. It takes about 10 minutes. You're pulled behind an actual tractor, dressed up as a train, and again, it goes through a fun Wild West-themed diorama type of town. Also a really great thing to do there, visit the goats. You can even do goat yoga, which I've tried one time and is amazing. You do yoga and a goat will actually stand on your back during some of the yoga poses. Really unique experience, and you can do parties and birthday parties there, too. Definitely, again, make sure to check out the hay ride. You ride in the back of a truck filled with hay bales all through the farm and the surrounding area. Check out Lemos Farms in Half Moon Bay.
