At Brickhouse we have a saying: "We'll always keep growing and learning. Realize we will never arrive at a summit. And we will not compromise who we are to settle into trends or the status quo." Who are we? Brickhouse consists of everyday people varying in personality, whom simply desire to belong, to learn, to be discipled, and to give. Coffee culture and trade provides a vast conduit in which many people's lives are affected. We want to do as much good as we are able. Our hope is to use coffee as a marriage between people, communities, cities, and countries. Also, to produce the best coffee we can.
As a coffee roaster, we are passionate not only about what we do, but the why for which we do it. We purpose to be a part of something bigger than ourselves and to make a difference in the lives of others. Through our direct trade alliances, we ensure that the farmers receive more than their fair share. This allows them the opportunity to truly provide for their families and reinvest back into their farms. We know that excellence takes purpose. Therefore, we work diligently to pay close attention to every detail in order to take all the hard work the farmers put into the bean and allow it to shine through in the cup. We care about people and are committed to pouring into them in order to provide opportunities for them to do what they do best.
