Mission Coffee Roasting Company

We opened our doors June of 2015. We're almost two and a half years old and we really started this business with the idea of sustaining missions here locally right here in our community. We just began roasting our coffee about ten months ago and that really has given us the profit margin and the sustainable future to do just that. Yeah, roasting coffee is a mix of science and art. Using data, I've got different temperature probes and I'm collecting all the data from the rows and analyzing that and it's part art and senses too. I'm tasting, I'm smelling, I'm watching, I'm listening so it's a great blend of both of those. At Mission Coffee we give one dollar for every bag of coffee we sell back into the community to sustain missions right here in Portage County. Just great missions right here in our backyard like create the H So when coffee is purchased from Mission Coffee, those coffee dollars matter. Our commitment is that dollar for every single retail bag back into the community. The really cool part about it is when you do buy your coffee at Mission Coffee House, we give you that mission dollar, it's a mission buck and you're empowered at that point of sale to give right then and there and that idea really created our tagline and our tagline is creating coffee, community and connection. We're just part of this awesome community and that link that brings the community together is our coffee.
