Our fork in the road report for you at five this week takes us over to Oskaloosa where you might say there's a message behind the mochas and meaty sandwiches you'll find at the Walnut Street Coffee and Deli shop photojournalist Rick Felsberg takes us there. Welcome to Walnut Street Coffee and Deli. We can offer you a complete line of coffee, pastries, coffee drinks, or we can also offer you complete line of deli meats and cheeses. We love new customers. We love making people feel at home. We love just having, we want a good vibe, friendly, everybody's welcome. We appreciate them. Those regulars that come through every day get their drinks. I love memorizing their names, their drink. It's a lot of fun. I love it. We love new customers. I feel The Lord blessed us with eight children. My dad and I worked together on getting this place started. The Walnut Street Mocha, that's our signature drink. You can get that hot iced or frozen. It's going to be white chocolate with caramel drizzle. It's a very good drink. A lot of people love it. One of my favorite sandwiches is going to be the roast beef with pepper jack cheese with ranch and then we make our own honey mustard here. It's kind of a sweet honey mustard. I really, really So our Seminoles is one of our top sellers. It'something we have every day of the week. We sell a lot of those people. People love those. It's just a place where I feel Of course my family's here and we have dedicated employees. Our family isn't dedicated. Our ultimate goal is to honor and glorify God in this. We want to be a light and a witness to the community. We always have inspirational music going. We want people to come in, just go to hang out, relax. We want to have a new look at life. We want to be servants of the Lord. Be a witness for Him and point people to Him. We love to see the smiles on our customers. We love to treat them. We want our customers to feel Yeah, just feel blessed. I feel privileged. A good feeling to come back here every morning and know we can begin a new day. Meet lots of good people. See our regulars, people that we see every day, as well as meet new clients. A blessing that we can count in as ours from the Lord. Looks tasty, doesn't it? Walnut Street Coffee and Deli can be found in Oskaloos at 409 Walnut Street, of course. Their hours are Tuesday through Friday, 7am to 4pm. Then Saturday, 8-2, they are closed on Sunday and Monday.
