My name is Denise Diaz. I am co-owner of Ritual Cafe. I opened up Ritual with Linda in 2005. Ritual Cafe is a little bit unique in that we are kind of identified as more of a cultural hub and we encourage expression through art, through music, through visual art. We do poetry, slams, so we're kind of a collective of the artistic folks. I think our products make us unique. We're all vegetarian. Our specialty drinks are amazing. I don't know who else sells them or shops a lot, say. In our staff, our staff is amazing. I think that everyone that works here makes the place, Ritual Cafe is a place that offers a lot of work. One of the reasons I wanted to work at Ritual Cafe is because a lot of my ideals as far as workplace environment were in line with a lot of the aspects that Ritual Cafe offers as far as employer. I just generally have a passion for coffee. The coffee that we serve at Ritual Cafe is an organic coffee that's roasted locally by another coffee shop, Zanzibar's Coffee. It's a medi Very casey. The house drip is probably one of my favorites. As far as the specialty drinks that we have, some of the more popular ones are the Mayan mocha, which is made with Mexican chocolate. Besides our fabulous coffee and coffee bounties, we offer micro brews and carry red wine. And white wine, we carry a chardonnay and a cavernay merlot blend, and then we also sell whole bottles of a 14 hands cavernay. We carry so many y Sweet binnies, we get our muffins from and pastries. We get a lot of pastries from Cafe Salzburg and several small local bakers in town do scones in our vegan goodies. Smoothies we offer are great. They're made with whole natural fruit juice. Instead of dairy, we use hemp nut, which adds consistency as well as nutritional value. We carry bread from South Union Bakery. It's the garlic tocacha and we use that for all our sandwiches. Our cheeses come from a local place called Graziano's. We get all our sliced cheeses from them. When you walk into the ritual, it's almost You're experiencing a whole different environment. It'so important that people shop locally and support independent businesses, especially independent coffeehouses. Always think local first.
