We are a locally owned and operated Deli and Bakery in the heart of lower downtown Denver (LoDo) in business since 1983. Aside from a few treats and snacks items are prepared fresh daily in house. Once you got to the market, you normally came back. My name is Mark Greenberg, owner of the Market at Larimer Square. Some customers have come five days a week, Monday through Friday, for lunch, for years and years. A good quality food, cappuccino. We make about 600 cakes a week. Classical music. Only a restaurant is very stressful and hard work. And if you can't mop and sweep, no need to apply. Nothing ever lasts forever. The day the governor came out with the no contact situation. Right at that point, thought about it, went home. After 37 years of being in business, I made a business decision to close the market. The employees were told today that were closing. I really have a hard time dealing with that right now because they're I'll miss Larimer Square, I'll miss my customers, I'll miss the interaction with all my employees. It's just a sad day in my life. I appreciate everyone's hard work at the market for all these years and came in together at the market for years and years.
