SloHi Coffee Bike

Hi, my name is Adam Williams. I'm the owner of Slow High Coffee & Bike. We are a small bike shop located in Denver, Colorado. We have two stores, one on the east and one on the west side. One is a coffee shop and one is in the oldest bike shop in Denver. We are very community focused. We believe in being kind of hyper local, part of our neighborhood where we see our families, see the kids grow up, do a lot of things that really pertain to what the neighborhood wants of us. The whole shop is kind of focused on being a family adventure center, anything from cargo bikes to kids bikes to even doing ski tuning for the whole family. We had a lot of fun doing things with bikes and really seeing the community thrive with us. We wanted to be something that people could come to, ask questions, meet and do things that are a j We do a lot of events that cater to the things that are immediately around us. Our Highland Shop does a lot of work with the Tennyson Center helping kids that are underprivileged. At the City Park Shop we do a lot of free maintenance clinics and our Coffee Shop does a lot of things that are a meeting place for a lot of rides, other people to come do things that are important to them and the community. Slow High has become a major resource for Tennyson Center specifically. It's a refuge for our staff when they just need a break to get away. It's where we have all of our meetings. I would say more importantly though is what they do for the kids. Opening the City Park Shop especially has been a big eye opener for us. It's a very different demographic even though it's only five miles away. But it's been really fun seeing the type of people that come in and building that community all over again and seeing that shop start to develop its own niche and part of its small radius of City Park.
