Our story in coffee found its origin in the realty that coffee has the potential to be so much more than just coffee; rather it can be a simple means to a greater and not so simple end for the common good of all people in its reach.
The Dearborn area has long been a destination for a variety of businesses. We host some of Michigan's most recognizable names like Ford and Bea But as times and the economy change, more and more new names are demanding cons As a result, we've added a new category, the Startup of the Year Award. Our inaugural winner created an immense amount of buzz long before its doors opened, and it continues to perk right along. The line is often long at Common Grace Coffee Company, but this is no ordinary coffee shop. We don't have customers. We have guests. Our guests, I mean, explicitly people are guests. Most commonly Dearborn are our guests. We're trying to fulfill our vision, which is to truly bring common good to the city of Dearborn and to the world, and that has to happen through a successful local avenue before it can happen at a global platform. Visitors to Common Grace's Michigan Avenue storefront will quickly be enveloped in its friendly vibe and fresh presentation of one of the world's most iconic drinks. But here, coffee is more than just a drink. For us, coffee is a way to foster community, to bring people together, but it's also a way to stretch our hands into other places in the world and make a difference. Being able to wake up and provide someone with their morning cup of coffee or, With a variety of coffees, teas, and scr Is it a business? Yes, it is. But it's a different kind of business. Whenever people ask me what Common Grace is, I always have to specify that, It's a business that's for the people that we serve, for the craft that we serve, and for the world that we serve it in. The reality is we're not a cafe that roasts coffee. We're a roast tree that has a cafe. So our first priority is coffee. The cafe is a hospitable way to serve our community with the coffee that we are pouring our time into. At Common Grace Coffee Company, something uncommonly good is brewing in Dearborn.
