Hi, I'm Emily Shepherd from the Richard & Tim and today we're here at Bond Life in Cleveland, Kennedy to learn a little bit about some of the wonderful small businesses that Cleveland has to offer. We're here at Bond Life with Eric Moore who's going to tell us a little bit about Bond Life. So for those who don't know, who is Bond Life? So Bond Life Coffee has been in Cleveland for the last five years. Pretty much my husband got together with my brother-in-law who's a missionary in Thailand and they started sending him money. My husband was So we looked at that there was some really great coffees born in Thailand so were So we started doing a little research and realized that those farmers are just not getting a fair wage. And so we decided that we wanted to go into that and we would direct source from the farm and get a better wage. And of course Bond Life means good and French. So good life and that's pretty much what we try to do every day. Very cool. So you've been in Cleveland for five years. What made you choose Cleveland? Well, my husband's been here since he moved back from Germany when he was 12. And we met in college and I loved Tennessee and I was in Knoxville at the time and I wanted to stay here and family so Cleveland is where we decided to plan our route. And I loved Cleveland because it's actually a lot bigger than where I grew up. Well it's very cool and let'see what is your favorite thing about Cleveland? It's fun. I know this is town here and a lot of people might not hear anything but I think Cleveland is one of the big cities in the world. Because I do come from a small town that did not even have a dollar wide open. So I loved Cleveland. I loved just the people in general that are everywhere here. It'so nice and so generous and just even when they come in and store if they're new and all friendly and great and I That's awesome. I know that What else do you want to tell us about that? Yes. We do direct source from the farms. We get it straight from the farm. They bring it and get it green here and we roast it weekly right here at Cleveland. That is awesome.
