Today we are giving you an exclusive look at how a local coffee manufacturing plant helps craft your morning cup of Joe. Our Brandon Roth live at the Paul DeLima plant in Cicero now with more on what he'seen so far in this behind the scenes tour. Hey Brandon, a pretty unique opportunity. I'll tell you this is a fascinating place if you're a big coffee lover and I'm a big coffee guy that we actually a lot of people may not know that but we actually have an international coffee plant right here in Central New York. We're joined by the president of the Paul DeLima Company. Mike, Mike, let's get right to it. First of all, a lot of people don't realize this is a company right here in Central New York employing Central New Yorkers and you're shipping out all over. Yes, sir. We are an international company shipping coffee throughout the United States, Europe and some of the islands. So we do have international selling ability. And let's take people right through because it's fascinating right here starting right here. Comes in the big bags. Comes in 150 pound bags, comes in green. Ron Chrysler, procurement department manager, lies the coffee. It'shown here in a green state. And now I thought, No, actually come in green like this and then put into our roaster and roasted to, you know, light browns, medi Right now, folks can come here back. This is actually you have a gift store going on for the coffee going on through the holidays. One of the things is we'd love to invite us, So we're open Monday through Sunday. Yeah. And people while they're here, you actually have a really interesting muse The history is fascinating. You got started right here in Syracuse. Your founder was Ella Dalima 1902 came here roasting coffees in her kitchen. And now 100 years later, shipping millions of pounds of coffee throughout the world. Right. So more than 100 years later, a company right here in central New York, making a product that for all of us coffee lovers, you can't go without having in the morning.
