The owner started this restaurant with a desire to have authentic food. And over the past couple years we've taken that idea of authenticity very seriously and applied it not just to the food that we're serving but also to how we interact with our community. That means building relationships with our customers. A lot of these people we see every single day so we're able to share in their lives, they're able to share in our lives. They know our family, we know their kids' names. Here at Maintree Cafe we're always driving to be able to serve the freshest closest home food that we can to our customers. The same standard that we carry out at home we do here too because this is an extension of our family, it's our community. When you come through our doors we hope that you'll feel We don't want you to have to worry about what you're putting in your body because we've already done the guesswork for you. We know every single ingredient that goes into our food, we know it's authentic, we know it's wholesome. Our staff puts between 10 to 15 hours of prep work into lunch every day. That means coming in at the break of dawn to start Easter rising. All of our cookies are made 100% from scratch. We're partnering with local farmers to provide organic produce for us so they're bringing in truckloads of produce for us to inspect. We hand select everything that we use here in the restaurant. Our coffee in Espresso is now all organic as well. It's locally roasted. Our roaster is working with small farm co-ops in South America and Africa and the islands to bring exceptional beans. We're investing into our customers' lives and their health and their well-being. That goes beyond just our physical. We want to be here as an encouragement to them as they come in and get to know them personally and their families and ask them how their grandkids are doing and look at pictures and laugh with them and cry with them during hard times. I believe we've really become a family here.
