Wash my chicken first and then I pat it dry and when you sear the chicken and brown it, it's not gonna brown properly if it is not completely dry. It has to be room temperature. See that color? It's gonna be done perfectly. Look it out of the oven. I actually cranked it up to about 400 to keep it really nice and browned. But let's look. I'm gonna put it on a plate and I'm gonna use this same pan and if there's a little bit too much oil I'm just gonna get rid of a little bit but keep some in there I'm gonna make our sauce. Get sussed. Have a little bit of that oil still in there. Maybe Butter. We're gonna get this moving. Garlic so I'm just gonna put a teaspoon in there. I'm gonna use some tamari. You can use soy. It's totally fine. See how it'starting to bubble? Your garlic's gonna saute here in a sec. You want to burn your garlic so you're only going to saute this for about one or two minutes. One, two. For the main event that would be honey but I'm half a cup. Now I'm going to eyeball it. That's good. Half a cup. Let that bubble up. Love the garlic. Let this thicken and reduce. Look how gorgeous. Oh my gosh. You don't even need any cornstarch or anything. I really think this is gonna take us over the top. Ready? Boom. Boom. That's it baby. See how thick it's getting? Look. Look, look, look. You see the juices? Put the juices in there. Get it all in. And then the lower the heat. We're gonna turn the heat off so it's perfectly thickened. Heat's off. It's looking so gorgeous. Here it is.
